FAQ:

In addition to tuning, what other parts are needed for the full delete?
You will need a DPF Delete Pipe or Race Exhaust as well as an EGR Delete Kit, all which you can find on our site.

What other steps do I need to perform for the delete tune to function correctly?
You must remove the DPF/SCR along with all sensors from the exhaust.  You must also remove the EGR system with it's associated sensors.
Most EGR delete kits will include a provision to install a pyrometer/EGT sensor probe, you cannot use that with these tunes.  Either do not install the sensor into the block off plate or ensure the sensor's electrical connector is not plugged in.

Should the Throttle Valve (AKA Throttle Body) be unplugged?
All 2020-2021 models will need to unplug the throttle valve.  2022 model years can use different software versions, most will require the throttle valve to remain plugged in but some software versions will need the throttle valve unplugged.  For 2022 models we recommend that you leave the throttle valve plugged in unless you experience power loss issues, then we suggest you unplug the throttle valve as a troubleshooting step.

When should the throttle valve be unplugged on a 2022 model?
If your 2022 model experiences power loss after you load your tune you should unplug the throttle valve as a troubleshooting step.

What are the power loss issues I would experience on my 2022 if the throttle valve is causing issues?
We have only seen two issues arise on 2022 models that were caused by the software conflicting with the throttle valve.  The first issue was a surging on throttle (the RPM would fluctuate with a steady throttle input),  the second issue was a sudden loss of power when towing that would not appear without load.  These two trucks were running an uncommon software version and the throttle valve would behave erratically, unplugging the throttle valve fixed both issues.

How do I add more credits to my ecmsync?
You will first need to purchase the credits (8 credits for each ECM) and then you will need to send us the config file.  We will send you a new .ecmc file that you will load to the device. See the steps below for more details.

Connect your ecmsync device to your PC and open the ecmsync pro software.  In the software click the "Device" dropdown menu in the top bar and select "Save Configuration".  Save this file and email it to [email protected].  We will send you the credit file back within 1 business day.  Once you have the email save the attached file to your PC and connect your ecmsync to your PC.  Open the ecmsync pro software and select "Credits" dropdown from the top menu bar and click on "Upload Credits".  Now click "Browse" and navigate to where you've saved the file and select it. After selecting your .ecmc file, click on "Load" to load the credits onto your device.
